Ron and Jean, whom many of the Mercian clients will remember for their work with Mercian over the last 15 years, are now back in the fold, after taking a break for a couple of years due to personal commitments.

They took early retirement from their own business in 1989 and have travelled extensively throughout Asia, Australia, New Zealand and, of course Europe, since then.

They first became involved with Mercian way back in 1992 and, for many years were involved with the administration of the Mercian holidays in resorts, especially the Don Pablo Hotel which almost became their second home.  They ensure that nobody misses a game of bridge through the lack of a partner, teach and run both short mat and lawn bowls on Mercian holidays and generally ensure that all guests are well looked after.

Both Ron and Jean have also been involved in the travel industry for some 12 years, being Tour Guides in many European capitals. Both are bowls and bridge players, and have enjoyed playing both games all over the world, making many new friendships as a result.

In their spare time they do some voluntary work in their local community and help to raise funds for the elderly and sick.
