Libya has vast natural oil and gas reserves and has recently opened up two new fields in the SIRTE basin, the NC-98 concession which has a gas condensate reservoir and the North Gailo site. The country's gas reserves in January 2009 were estimated at 54.4 trillion cubic feet. Libya is the second largest producer of oil in Africa with 1.7 million barrels of oil a day, making them the largest single supplier of oil to the United Kingdom. The potential for further growth through exploration is enormous as much of the country has not yet been explored including the offshore Mediterranean, Ghadames and the Eastern side of the country. The opportunities for companies in the oil and gas industry and those who supply that indsutry are enormous and by taking in this Trade Mission you will have a golden opportunity of making the right contacts, show your commitment to the Libyan market which is vital if you wish to do business in this country. There are excellent services to Tripoli from Scotland and the North of England with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, or there are direct flights with British Airways or Afriqiyah Airways from London.

 AL WADDAN HOTEL
The Al Waddan Hotel is situated in the heart of Tripoli and nestles between the mature trees and shrubs that line the Corniche. It is an elegant boutique hotel, is Tripoli's oldest hotel (dating back to the 1930's) and newest renovation.
Our clients receive a very personalized service at this hotel and as it is a smaller boutique hotel, therefore it makes it more inviting and comfortable for our clients than the bigger international properties.
The large terrace overlooking the Corniche offers guests a unique opportunity to enjoy the North African weather (which is great for 8 months of the year).
