Changing
the date of your flight
Some of our special fares cannot
be changed. This is in line with special fares
of most other airlines.
Many of our tickets can
be changed however, but may well require payment
of a fee (from £35
to £80 according to your ticket conditions).
We need you to fax us a copy of the first page
of your ticket, in order for us to change your
booking. Please write your telephone number or
email address on the fax, along with the date/dates
you wish to change to. We will endeavour to change
your ticket as required and will contact you to
let you know the outcome. If you are flexible with
your change, please give the full date range as
it will help us find you a seat.
The date change fee can be paid
in person with cash at our office, or with cash
at Heathrow airport when you check-in.
Lost Tickets
The procedure for replacing
lost tickets has recently been greatly simplified
for tickets purchased in the UK. In the event
of a lost ticket for replacement in the UK, please
contact our office and you will be informed of
the actions to be taken. The cost to replace
a lost ticket is £35, but you
must have the necessary paperwork. If your lost
ticket is reported to China Eastern London office
less than 24 hours before departure, you may need
to purchase a replacement ticket, which will be
refunded after three months. Different procedures
may be followed at other China Eastern offices.
Baggage Allowance
Baggage Allowance for passengers
from international destinations is 30 kg
(Economy), 40 kg (Business), 50 kg (First).
Hand baggage allowance is 7 kg (Economy
and Business) 10 kg (first). Please be
aware that excess luggage will be strictly checked
and charged for. Passengers carrying unpaid excess
luggage may be refused boarding. |
