Britain's second largest longhaul
carrier Virgin Atlantic now provides award winning
schedule of flights to 28 destinations around the
globe.
Aiming to fly one of the
youngest fleets of aircraft in the world Virgin
Atlantic operates the Boeing 747-400, the Airbus
A340-300 and the longest aircraft in the world
the A340-600. And 2008 will
also see the introduction of the groundbreaking
A380 into our fleet.
The Virgin Atlantic route
network is now even more accessible and includes
destinations in North America, the Caribbean,
Africa, Asia and Australia - operating out of
London Heathrow and Gatwick. New
Routes include Cuba, the Bahamas, Dubai and from
3 July Montego Bay, Jamaica.

ECONOMY
Your journey begins as
soon as you board your Virgin Atlantic flight – great entertainment,

at the airport with a dedicated check in that

and with a seat pitch of up to 38 inches so you

CHECK IN OPTIONS
Check In Online
You can save yourself time at the airport and select
your seats in advance by checking in online between
24 and two hours prior to departure. It’s
simple, all they need to do is visit www.virginatlantic.com/checkin and:
- Enter flight
details and follow the instructions
- Arrive
at the airport, drop off their bags at the Virgin
Atlantic DIY Check In Bag Drop counter and collect
their boarding passes from the Check In desk
at least 60 minutes before the flight departs
- Head
to Departures.
*Online Check In is available when travelling
to all destinations except Lagos and when travelling
to the UK from Lagos and the Caribbean.
Self service check in
You can use our Check In
kiosks, situated next to the check in desks in
Terminal 3 up to one hour before your flight is
due to depart.
All you have to do is enter your booking details
and print off your boarding card, then drop off
your luggage at the Bag Drop desk.
Don’t forget – you will still need
the following documents:
- Machine Readable Passport
- Frequent Flyer card if you have one
- E-ticket receipt or paper ticket containing
your booking reference number
- Credit Card (can be used to start a Kiosk Check
In)
- Any applicable travel visas
- Travel insurance details
- Any other relevant travel documents
